Sponsored Links

Yesterday I received an SMS from a friend who asked me, how Chating via DOS? So I wrote directly answer if he wants to chat in a network and still in the windows environment just try net send! The question is now how to activate it? Well now I'll go through the article "DOS Chatting with Net Send":
1. Entry in the Start All Programs Run and then you get in on the service windows by typing the command services.msc.
2. Now click 2 times service called Messenger.
3. In the Messenger Properties you should be on the General tab and then the Startup type: Manual position and Service Status: Started in a state by clicking the Start button. If you want to enable the Messenger service automatically when the computer is turned on set Startup type: Automatic position.
4. Repeat steps 1 -3 as above on another computer. Its purpose is to enable the Windows Messenger Service on every computer in the network.
5. Entry in the Start All Programs Accessories Command Prompt and then typing the command net send computer komputer/ip name> user/nama message> <Pesan who want dikirim>

6. If successful it will show a message that was sent earlier on the destination computer
7. Next it's up to you to send a message what you want to send to a friend.

Hopefully useful ......
